What Happens After Easter?

Jesus conquered death, stepped out of the tomb, and revealed himself to Mary, calling her by name. Yesterday we celebrated Easter Sunday, but let’s not forget the season we are in. It’s over these next 40 days that Jesus revealed himself to hundreds of others. He walked the roads, cooked fish on the shore, invited himself to secret lockdown prayer meetings.

These are the days when people discovered tombs that had been cracked open. Men and women both screamed in shock as their righteous relatives, who had been certifiably dead, now wandered local streets giving a friendly wave to friends and family. Jesus was the first of the resurrected dead. He woke up a few friends to join him in his campaign to reveal his resurrection power. The revelation of His victory over death was documented by more than Mary and the the disciples and it sent a shockwave through the empire.

We are now in the season of testimony where Christ is Revealed and His Resurrection Power is displayed tangibly. Lets ask Jesus to do it again…

Jesus, we invite you to shock the neighbors with your glory and power on full display! Reveal yourself in us, and change hearts and lives with your resurrection power. Draw all people to you, calling them by name.

Don’t miss out on what Jesus is doing right now. We invite you to be praying with our team these three things over the next 40 days:

  • Pray Christ be revealed to those who do not yet believe, calling them by name
  • Pray His resurrection power surges through our faith and is manifested for His glory
  • Pray for a Church-wide awakening of who we are in Christ, and Christ revealed in us
